2. Avoiding Erosion corrosion:

Hard to believe but true – in many situations plastics can handle solids much better than metals.

Where metals are often specialists in handling either corrosion or abrasion, high performance plastics excel in both fields.

A common phenomenon called erosion corrosion, where metal is worked away by an alternating attack of erosion and corrosion does simply not exist in plastic pumps.
